D.O.s Meet the Demand for Quality Health Care

Have questions about choosing a primary physician?  Choosing a physician is an important decision and there are a number of factors to consider.

 What is a D.O.?

  • Osteopathic physicians (DOs) are fully licensed to prescribe medicine and practice in all specialty areas, including surgery.
  • DOs practice a "whole person" approach to medicine.
  • Osteopathic physicians focus on preventive health care.
  • DO's receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system - your body's interconnected system of nerves, muscles and bones that make up two-thirds of your body mass.
  • Learn more about DO's HERE.
