About the MSACOFP

For nearly 40 years, the Missouri Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians has existed as a means for family physicians to promote the importance of family medicine. It was incorporated April 16,1986 for the purpose of developing, promoting and conducting educational seminars and classes for the benefit of primary care physicians.

Today the organization remains strong and is driven by its vision to be the premier leader for Missouri Osteopathic family medicine. Through the Society's mission to promote the distinct philosophy of Osteopathic family medicine through advocacy, education and leadership it continues to grow and support the future of family medicine.

Family physicians live in the communities they serve. They are weaved into the fabric of those communities. Without family physicians, our communities would suffer.
