ATSU student presentation

Student and Resident Poster Contest

The Society is again hosting a poster contest and Osteopathic medical students and family medicine residents are invited to participate!

The deadline for submitting abstracts is December 29, 2024.

Participants will be notified by January 2 of approval. Posters MUST be submitted by midnight of January 7. Instructions on poster parameters and how to upload will be sent via email. Participants who have been chosen to present at the conference must be available to attend and register for the conference on Friday January 24 and Saturday January 25.

If you are chosen to present at the Winter Family Medicine Update, you will create a poster according to the poster guidelines provided to you and send it to the Society's printer vendor for printing. The Society is responsible for bringing all posters to the conference and participants can take their posters home with them at the end of the conference.

Presentations will be judged Friday afternoon; times to be determined. Participants will be asked to provide a five-to-ten-minute presentation of their work, afterward allowing for a six-minute question and answer session with the judges. Awards will be announced at the annual membership meeting on Saturday January 25, 2025. Participants will be notified in January of the exact time of their presentation.
