Membership Benefits

The Society provides high quality, reasonably priced continuing medical education. The Winter Family Medicine Update provides at least 25 AOA category 1-A CME credits and AAFP Prescribed Credits for family physicians. In addition, smaller CME events are planned each year to give you an opportunity to earn more credits. Members receive special pricing for all CME events.

The MSACOFP provides representation for Missouri physicians at the national level at the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Missouri physicians are involved at committee, board and delegate levels.

Advocacy is an especially important part of membership. Through legislative updates provided throughout each session, members will keep up on state legislation and regulatory issues and come together at the Capitol each spring to speak to legislators.

Supporting Missouri's osteopathic students and residents is an especially rewarding benefit. Members can volunteer to present to student groups or residency programs, provide mentorship and shadowing opportunities.
